Book review-10 book week goes with a bang

This story is about Story Street School, and they have Book Week. Students do something with books. Some students draw pictures, some students make their own books, and some students read books to their teacher. Mrs. Turner is the head teacher. She said that students and teachers could dress up as someone from books on Friday. All students are very excited. She also says that Zak Pieman who is very famous author. Everyone is more excited. On Friday, students and teachers dressed up. Story Street was just like a story from fairy tale. Sanita dressed up as Cinderella, and Miss Cherry dressed up as Cinderella, too. Zak came and talked with students and teacher. Students liked him very much, and Zak and Miss Cherry seemed they like each other, too. This story didn’t finish. Book review-8 Sam runs away

Sam is a girl and the main character of this story. One day, she runs away form her home because her parents always argue and try to make Sam take sides. She is tired of it. I think I can understand her feeling because I didn’t like my parents argue when I was a child, ether. Children don’t like their parents argue. Sam runs into a secret room in a castle. Ben, one of Sam’s friends sees Sam running there, and comes to make Sam go back to her home. Then Sam goes back to her home, but her parents are angry with Sam. Aren’t they mean? However they saw Sam is crying, and they thought a lot. Then they stopped making Sam take side! Now they are nice to Sam and each other.(134/4861 words)

Book review-7 Marvin Redpost 3

The main character is Marvin Redpost, a little boy. He is in Mrs. North’s class, and he sits next to Casey. Marvin thinks that Casey is a weird girl. Casey says, “if you kiss yourself on your elbow, you will turn into a girl” to Marvin. It means if a girl kisses on her elbow, she will be a girl, and if a boy kisses on his elbow, he will be a girl! Casey says that you can change back, too. Marvin didn’t believe in it, but he tried it. He wasn’t sure if he can reach his elbow, so he just wanted to know if he can, and it did! Suddenly, Casey shouts. She says, “Oh my gosh, you were trying to kiss your elbow! You want to be a girl.” Many students in the class heard it, so Marvin was embarrassed. He tries to deny it. He says, “I had an itch.” They are just kids. I think these conversations are cute. Don’t you think so? I learned the phrase, “I had an itch”.(176/4727 words)

BOWLING in JAPAN

The girl who is rolling a ball was my host sister. Her name is Julia, and she is two years younger than me. When I was a high school student, I went to the U.S. as an exchange student. There were mom, dad, and three sisters. The oldest sister and I were the same age, and the other sisters were twins! Julia is one of the twins. She always woke me up on Saturday and Sunday morning. I didn't have to wake up so early, but she always woke me up, and we ate breakfast together. I liked eating pancake for breakfast. On Sunday, I went to Church with the family, and I went to Sunday school, too. I wasn't a Christian, but it was good to learn their way of thinking. Many Japanese people say children, "if you do something bad, you will go to the hell, and if you do good things, you can go to seven." I thought it is world common, but it was not. Christian doesn't think like that. They think only the people who believe in God can go to heaven. Stephanie, the oldest host sister told me she thinks it is wrong that people who did bad things go to hell because everyone do bad things. Even if you didn't kill anybody or steal anything, you may have injured people, so you can't say who is bad or who is good. I understood it and agreed with the thinking. I got new ideas from them. Anyway, Julia was in Japan as an exchange student on August. Stephanie has been Japan few years ago, too. When I was in America, Julia said that she wanted to come to Japan, so I was glad that she did it! Then I went to Tamana to see her. I drove my mom's car to Tamana. I was kind of scared because I got car license about two years ago, but I hadn't driven alone so much. At first, we went to eat out. She couldn't eat a lot of kind of Japanese food, but she tried to eat. I said that she didn't have to eat it if she didn't like it, but she said she wanted to because she won't get so many chances to come to Japan. How nice she is! After eating lunch, we went for bowling. I remembered that Stephanie, Nicole, Julia, and I did bowling in America. We had fun! After that, we went to Jusco to get some snacks. Stephanie and Nicole liked Japanese snacks, so Julia got snacks for them. Then I took Julia to her host family's home, and said goodbye. I hope that we can see each other again.(451/4551 words)

A japanese sweet like an orange

This is a picture of an orange. Well, it’s not real orange. In fact, it is just a Japanese sweet. Can you tell the difference? Isn’t it cool? I think it is. I took the picture when I was a high school student. One of my friends made it in a class. I’m from T.G.H.S. They have a food department, so the students who belong to food department often have classes to cook. Then the friend made the Japanese sweet in one of the class. I asked her, “was it difficult?” she said, “Not really, I think everyone can make it.” However it seemed very difficult for me. When I was a high school student, I didn’t cook at all. Just sometimes I helped my mother cooking, so I couldn’t cook very well. However now, I live at an apartment alone, so I must cook. A Hair Cut Show

Look at this picture. This is a picture of me and my friend, Michiru. On November 3rd, K.U. had a school festival, and Stuffs from Nifty, a hair salon came to give a hair cut show. Michiru and I were on the stage. Michiru and I wore exactly same cloths on the stage. We just had different color tights. I had black and medium hair, but I said okay to get my hair cut, so I got little bit shorter. I also died my hair. I thought there won’t be anyone that I know because it was not K.G.U. However, some of my friends were there. I had to pretend like I’m cool, so I shouldn’t have smiled, but my friends make me laugh, so I smiled a lot. I had to wear high-heeled shoes, so my legs were kind of tired, but it was an interesting experience. After the show, I got my hair cut at Nifty. I got really short hair. Matilda is a little girl, but she is not just a little girl. Matilda is very smart. When she was three years old, she could read newspaper. Matilda wanted to read a book. One day, she asked her father for a book, but he said no. He said that they have good TV, so she doesn’t need books, and he also said to just watch the TV. Matilda’s family is strange. Her father and mother are not interested in their children. Matilda has a older brother. He is spoiled by his parents. They are sometimes mean to Matilda. However Matilda is smart, so she studies by herself somehow. As she grows up, she starts to go to a school. The principal of the school is a woman. She is called Miss Trunchbull. She is big, and she is a terrible woman. She always uses violence on students. Students and teachers are scared of her. Matilda’s teacher’s name is Miss Honey. She is about twenty-three years old, and a nice teacher. Students like her. Miss Honey knew that Matilda is a very clever girl, and she thinks that Matilda should stay in a higher class, then she can learn more. However Miss Trunchbull says no. Then Miss Honey goes to Matilda’s house to talk with Matilda’s parents about her, and she notices that the parents are not very nice for Matilda. Miss Honey wants to help Matilda to make her life better. After a while, they Miss Honey makes Matilda to stay at Miss Honey’s home. Matilda likes Miss Honey, and Miss Honey is nice to Matilda, so it was good for Matilda. Matilda notices that she has a mysterious power that people don’t have, and she practices a lot to improve the power. Miss Honey and Matilda take revenge to Miss Trunchbull by using the power! This book was easy to understand because I had watched this story on TV before.(321/3746)

William Thacker is the main character of this story. He is twenty-eight years old, and he and his many friends live in Notting Hill. He had a wife. His wife left him for another man about two years before. Now William Thacker lives his life with man named Spike. William Thacker works at a shop called The Travel Book Company. One day, when he was working at his shop, a very beautiful woman came. He thinks he knows her, and he tries to remember who she is. Then he remembers that she is Anna Scott, the biggest film star. Most men think that she is the most beautiful girl on Earth. William tries to calm, and they talk friendly. Anna Scott buys a guidebook and leaves his shop. He will never see her again, so he feels empty. After that, William is at a café with Martin, and he gets an orange juice. Then he goes back to the bookshop with the orange juice again. When he turned the corner to the bookshop, he walked straight into a woman. He says sorry and looks up the woman’s face. It was Anna Scott! She is angry. William takes her to his home to clean her cloths. At that time, they didn’t talk that much, but after the day, William called her to date. Then they got closer.
I read this book just because the woman in the picture of the cover was cute. I liked the story, too. I think it has movie, too, so I want to watch the movie.(260/3425)

Friday morning

This morning, I woke up at about six forty, but I didn't get up because I was so sleepy, then I fell asleep again. Next, I woke up about seven twenty by my mom's call. I remembered that I asked mom to wake me up last night. My mom said not to fell asleep again, but I did. Then, I woke up about eight fifteen. I had to go to first period, so I got up soon and went to school. I was surprised that I could wake up. It was not too cold outside, but it was cool. I liked it. This afternoon, I have some interview at one O'clock to two O'clock. I will be asked about university. For example, what is the education policy of the English department? Why I decided to come to KGU? What the impression of this university after entrance to school. What am I going to do after graduating? How do I use library? Do I know about scholarship system well? Do I know about consultation system? I don't think I will be able to answer these questions.(185/3165)

Sports Festival!

We have sports festival on next Saturday, so I’m busy to prepare for it. Yesterday, I went to Donkiho-te in Kamikumamoto with my friends to get some stuff for the sports festival. Some people stay at school all night and practice dancing. I don’t need to practice dancing because only boys dance. Even if I had to practice dancing, I didn’t think I want to stay at school. It’s kind of messy, so I don’t want to sleep in the room. However we will not be able to sleep the night before the day. Maybe we have to spend the night at school tomorrow. A BLACK TOAST

Can you tell what this picture is? It is a piece of toasts. It’s about one O’clock a.m. I know that I shouldn’t eat anything before sleeping, and I usually try not to eat. However today, I was very hungry, and I was not going to sleep for a while. Then I putted a piece of toasts into micro wave. When I was typing English, my cell phone ringed. I answered, and talked with my friend about her part time job and so on. We talked about one hour. I forgot about the toast. It was too late to remember about it. Book Review-4, Romeo and Juliet

I had heard about the stories of Romeo and Juliet, but I hadn’t read or watched before.
This is a famous and sad love story. I didn’t know that it includes suspense. I think this is good book, but it was kind of hard to understand. You should remember the names of the characters in the story. I think it is easier to understand. I want to watch it in a movie sometime.(73/2736 words)

Book Review-3, Martin Luther King

This book told about Martin Luther King, Jr.’s early life and what he did in his life. He was born on January fifteenth, 1929. King played with White boys until five years old, but they couldn’t same school because of their skin color. White boys’ parents told him to stop playing with their son. He was sad, and he cried a lot, then he hated all white people. King was so smart, so he graduated high school two years earlier than the other students. He was also a good student in church. His father was a preacher, so he went to church every day, and he sung in the church, but when he was fifteen, the teaching was not agreeable to him. Daddy King was sad because King didn’t want to be a preacher. At fifteen, he went to university called Morehouse College. At seventeen, he changed hi mined to be a preacher, and studied about God, then he became a preacher. Daddy King was proud. In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse College, and went to another college in Boston, the North to study medical science. He thought about good life in the North side, and he could be a college professor, but he didn’t. He returned South to fight for Black American’s right. In 1953, King married Coretta Scott from Alabama. She liked north, and she didn’t want to return to South because their life in North was comfortable. However she did return to north because she knew King’s work was more important. King gave a lot of speeches. He gave his last speech in Memphis, Tennessee. He was killed by a gun. He died at 7:05 PM on April 4, 1968. This is not the end of this book. I recommend this book because I learned a lot from it.(302/2663 words)

My broken dictionary :'(

My electronic dictionary that I use since 7th grade was broken. I don't know why it was broken, but it didn't work well when I was doing my assignments. I try to turn on the switch sometime, but it still doesn't work. I was sad because I use my electronic dictionary often. I think I need to buy new one. The electronic dictionary which I was using had too much functions. It had English dictionary, Japanese dictionary, Korean dictionary, Chinese dictionary, German dictionary, Spanish dictionary, and Russian dictionary, and it also explains about some foods in the world. I hadn't used these functions, so I think it's too much, isn't it? I want to buy a dictionary which has just few functions I need. I just want English dictionary (English-Japanese, Japanese-English, English-English) and Japanese dictionary. My dictionary's color was just silver, so I also want to choose the color of electronic dictionary. I like white, black, pink, or red for it.(161/2361words)

A Sasebo Burger

This picture is a Sasebo Burger’s picture. Last summer, I went to Sasebo in Nagasaki to just eat Sasebo Burger. A night before the day, I was hanging out with my friends. I was looking at my friend’s picture, and there was a picture with a big hamburger. I knew it is a Sasebo Burger because it’s very famous. I had seen it on TV before. I told Satomi the friend who went to Sasebo that I wanted to go Sasebo, and she said we can go Sasebo next day. Another friend, Eri and I were really excited. We wanted to go there at that time. We couldn’t wait, but Satomi was very sleepy, so she said she wants to sleep. Eri and I waited for tomorrow morning. Then we left my friend’s house about ten O’clock. We didn’t use any superhighway. It took about 5 hours to get there. We were kind of hungry, but we went to the sea. It was no as beautiful as the sea in Okinawa, but it was beautiful. In the morning, it was cloudy, but it was very fine when we were in Sasebo. Next, we went to the zoo. There were many animals. I liked the little monkeys. They were cute. After that, we went to buy Sasebo Burgers. It was bigger than I thought. It was yummy. Then we went buck to home. I was kind of sleepy in the way to home.(242/2122)

My birth day

My birthday was on October 9th. My friend and I made supper. We ate hamburger. It was good. (・U・) After eating supper, my friend gave me a birthday cake. I didn't know that she had a birthday cake for me. I was so surprised and glad. I tried to puff out the candles at once, but I couldn't. It took three times. The cake had a lot of fruits on it. It was yummy! After that, we watched a scary movie called Siren. It's a Japanese movie. Yui Ichikawa acted the main character. She is cute! I had watched the movie before, but it was scary. I slept about at 11 O’clock, and I woke up at 2 O’clock. I forgot that it was my birthday, and I fell asleep again. (135/1047 words)

Yesterday, I woke up about 8 O'clock. I was very sleepy and still wanted to sleep, but I h ad first period. My first period on Thursday is, Spanish. I took Spanish last year, too. Studying Spanish is very hard for me. I can't understand. I don't think I'm going to take Spanish next year. However I like learning Spanish culture. Sometimes we watch some videos that show Spanish cities in the class. I like it. English is very famous language. Many people speak English. Bronze Medals!

Yesterday,I went to Miyagi-ken on August. I went there for a softball meeting. Many university boys’ softball teams in Japan come for this meeting. We stayed there about one week. In the morning, we assembled at school, and we took a school bus to go to the kumamoto airport. Then we got on an airplane to go to the Haneda airport. I hadn’t been haneda airport before, so it was my first time. Next, we took a bus from Tokyo to Miyagi. It took about four hours to get there. It was so long. Everyone was very tired. In the evening, we got there. It was dark outside. We stayed a nice hotel. It had two hot springs. I don’t like hot springs that much, but these were good. Next morning, we woke up at about 5:30 in the morning, and went to practice. And we also had a opening ceremony. I took a lot of pictures with another secretary from upstairs. Then, we went back to the hotel. The hotel didn’t have washing machine, so we had to go to coin laundry to do the wash. We took a taxi, did the wash, and took a taxi again to go back to the hotel. It cost about 10000 yen to do that. First, we gather everyone’s laundry. They have a lot of laundries. It is so heavy every time. Then my friend (another secretary) and I go to the coin laundry, and put them into the washing machines. After that, we remove the laundries out of the washing machine to the dryer. Next, we fold them and separate the laundries into each room. Then we go back to the hotel. Next day we had a game, and we won. We watched other team’s game, and went back to the hotel. I did the laundries with my friend again, and we ate supper. Two other teams stayed same hotel. So we ate supper together. We got close with other team’s secretaries. The next day, we woke up early in the morning again, and went to the meeting place, but we didn’t have any game the day because of the bad weather. The next day, we had a game, and the next day, we had two games. The last game was K.G.U versus K.U. We lost, but it was very nice game, and we got bronze medals. We were so glad. However we were little bit sad because seniors retire from our softball team. Anyway, it was very nice game. (419/805 words)

SHIRO

This is my dog’s picture. She is about 5years old, maybe. Her name is Shiro. Shiro is kind of old, and common name for dogs in Japan. My friend named her Shiro. She took shiro to my apartment. At first, I was thinking about a lot of kinds of names, but when she came to my apartment, my friend called her Shiro, and Shiro answers when we say, “Shiro!” Then I quit thinking about her name. When Shiro came to my apartment, her tale already looked like a tale of a lion. I really liked it. First, I had Shiro at my apartment without telling my mom. One day, my mom came to my apartment, and she was very surprised. However she did not get mad at me. She really liked Shiro. She said that she wanted to take shiro to home. I said no, but I knew that having shiro at home is better than having her at my apartment because my room is kind of narrow for dogs. Then my mom took Shiro to her home. I was so sad because we always slept together, and we always went to walk, too. However my mom loved Shiro, too. My mom didn’t like having pets inside of house before, but now, she has Shiro inside of house. Sometimes I go back to my home to see my family and Shiro. Shiro always follows my mom and me. She follows me even when I go to the bathroom. She is so cute. However she doesn’t like men. My dad tried to give some food to Shiro, but Shiro didn’t take any food from men before. She often barks at my brother. I wonder why. One day, I was taking a nap, and I was dreaming. I had a monkey in my dream. The monkey wasn’t nice to me at first, but we got close. I was holding the monkey in my arms, and I woke up. However I felt something on my stomach. It was heavy. Shiro was on my stomach. I was so surprised, and I thought that how cute she is! I told that to my mom, and she was jealous of me. She said, “Shiro had never done that to me. May be you were mistaken for me.” Haha. Isn’t Shiro so cute? (386 words)

my plan

I have to go to gakkan at 1:30. We are going to stay at nishigoushi-kenshuujo about 2 days with some university student from Korea. I don’t know well, but my friend told me that we are taking them to Kmamoto castle, shopping, etc. I will go to practice in the morning because we have practice in Nishigoushi. I don’t know about the plan, and I have a lot of things to do like blogging. However it will be fun.

What I did yesterday

Yesterday, I went to nishigoshi ground because we had a practice. I was putting balls in a batting machine, and it began to rain. We kept practicing, but it kept raining, too. It rained very hard. We quit practicing. After that, I went to a meeting at 20:00. Some people from 5 universities were already there. After that, I went back home, and I ate supper.

Pinocchio

Long time ago, there was a carpenter. His name was Mr. Cherry. He needed a table leg, and he had a piece of wood. As Mr. Cherry curves the piece of wood with his chisel, a little voice cried out. He heard someone saying, “Don’t hurt me!” Mr. Cherry is very surprised. Nobody is there except Mr. Cherry. He shouted, “Who’s there?” However nobody answers. Then, someone knocked at the door. It was his friend, Gepetto. Gepetto says that he want to make a puppet. Then someone says, “Good for you, macaroni hair.” Gepetto is angry now. He thinks that Mr. Cherry said that, but Mr. Cherry didn’t say anything. Gepetto says, “It must have been you. There is no one else here. But give me some wood and I might forgive you.” Mr. Cherry is glad because he can give the strange wood away. Gepetto takes the piece of wood to his home. He is looking forward to make the best puppet in this world. He decided to call it Pinocchio. He made a head with hair. He also gave Pinocchio two eyes. Gepetto notices that Pinocchio’s nose is growing. The nose is getting longer and longer. Gepetto quits thinking about the nose. Then he started curving mouth. Before finishing making the mouth, the mouth moves, too. The mouth is laughing. Gepetto keeps making Pinocchio. He makes the body. Then Pinocchio jumps up and run out with Gepetto’s wig in his hand.

More Macdonald

There is a family in this story. It is breakfast time at the Macdonald’s . Dad sys, “I have something important to say.” He always starts like this. He keeps talking. He says that the house is too small. They are going to move. Children don’t want to leave their friends, their school, and their park and secret rooms. Dad says, “You twins can not share a bedroom forever.” Then Jojo says that they can put Mouse in Lucky’s old hutch. I thought it was funny. She said that she can have the bedroom all to herself, too. Any way, they didn’t need to move in this story.

my report

I wrote a report for Bunka-Jinruigaku-class. I had to write about religion. I could write anything about religion, so I wrote what I think about religion. I never felt I’m a Buddhist until going to America. I have studied nothing about Buddhism. I don’t know anything. I go to temple or shrine. However if my parent doesn’t make me do that, I will not go there. I really didn’t like I am a Buddhist. When I went to America as an exchange student, I went to church every week. I was surprised about many things at first. I studied about Christ a lot at the church. Sometimes it was hard to understand, but my host sister explained in easy English. At the Church, we sang songs, too. I thought it was cool. I think it is cool that many people go to church every week. I was surprised that many shops are closed on Sunday because they have to go to church. At first, everything was cool to me. One day, my host sister asked me, “Who taught you about Buddha? How did you study?” I think I had never studied about Buddha, but Christian studies about God every week, and they pray for god every day. I want to know about Christianity, and my host sister wanted me to know about God, too, so I studied about God. My host sister taught me a lot of things, too. However as I studied, I couldn’t understand. Sometimes I couldn’t agree with them. For example, Jesus dies on the cross, but he comes back three days later. It could be true, but it was hard to believe for me. My host sister wanted me to be a Christian. I asked that why she wants me to be Christian. She said that she wants me to be Christian because she wanted me to be happy. I was not Christian, but I was happy. She also told me that I can’t go to heaven if I am not Christian. She said that I can go to heaven if I believe in God. I didn’t know that Christian think like that. I think Buddhists believe that people who did good things go to heaven, and people who did bad thing go to hell. I told that to her, but she said she can’t agree with the opinion. She said that every person does bad things. We can’t decide who is good, or who is bad. I agreed with that, but I still couldn’t agree with a thing that only Christian can go to heaven. Talking about religion was so difficult for us. It was hard to understand about Christian for me, but it was hard to understand about Buddhism for my host sister. However I kept going to church, and studied about God. I red the Bible, too. Later, I noticed that I don’t have to believe if I can’t. I noticed that I don’t have to do same thing as Christian. However I should understand the different thinking, too. It is hard, but I think that it is very important thing.

13 typing homeworks

FIRST CLASS.
I couldn't go to first class because I had to stay at my apartment, and get a package. I don't like I have to be at home when postmen come. Any way, I don’t use computer so often. It was kind of difficult to use computer. However it wasn’t too difficult because my friends taught me how to use computer when I couldn’t understand.

MUSIC I LIKE.
I was not used to listen to Japanese pop music. I liked listening to American music when I was a Junior high school student. However now I like listening to Japanese pop music. I like Utada Hikaru. She is good at speaking English, too. I have watched that she was speaking English on TV. I think she is very talented.

MY HOBBIES
I love watching movies. I always watched DVDs with my mom. My mom liked watching DVDs, too. We watched many DVDs together. I liked a movie which was called GHOST specially. I watched it a lot of times. I always recommend the DVD to my friends, and my friends like the movie, too. However I don’t like dubbing movies into Japanese.

GOLDEN WEEK PLAN.
I like golden week. I like vacation! I want to go shopping. I want to watch movies. I want to hangout with my friends. However the best thing that I want to do is going back to Kikuka. Kikuka is my hometown. I am not homesick, but I want to see my family. I like them a lot. I wasn’t used to cook at my home, but now, I can make supper for them. My mom will be surprised.

FOOD AND EATING
People who are not close to me always say, “You don’t eat that much, do you?” However I eat a lot! I like eating very much. My friends say that I eat a lot. I think girls eat food more than boys think. Don’t you think so? I liked eating my mom’s supper at my home. However now, I have to cook by myself. I think I like cooking now.

HOW I STUDY ENGLISH
When I was a Junior High School student, I wrote English words a lot of times to memorize the spelling. Now, I don’t write that much to memorize the spelling. I also translated English sentences to Japanese sentences. Now, It is not as difficult as I felt before, I think. Then my English teacher made me memorize the grammar. I didn’t like memorizing, but now, I think it was good.

OTHER CLASSES
I have a class which is called bunka-jinruigaku. We learn about other cultures, other religions, and other ways to think. I thought it was difficult to make the notes of this class, but when my friend explained to me, I understood, and I was interested in this class. Few days ago, I had a test of this class. I studied a lot, and I did my best. After taking tests, I usually feel like I failed. However I didn’t feel like that after taking this class’s test.

FOREIGN COUNTRY
When I was in Elementary School, my teacher asked to the students, “If you had 10000000 yen, what would you want?” My best friend said, I want to go to America. Then the teacher said that studying abroad is very nice, and he really recommended that. I wasn’t interested in foreign countries until it, but I was interested in foreign countries after that. I always told my mom that I want to go study abroad. I like studying about other cultures. I like studying about other cultures. I think it’s cool. Do you think so, too?

FAVORITE MOVIE
I already wrote about my favorite movie, but I will write about it, again. My favorite mvie’s title is GHOST. I really like it when Sam tries to pick the coin up. Then Morry can know Sam is there. I also like Odamei(I don't know the spelling) who is one of the characters. She has done many bad things, but she is still good parson, and she will never do bad things again. I wish that Odamei can go to heaven.

USING THE COMPUTER
I don’t like using the computer, but I know that computer is very useful for people who know how to use computer. There are many good points. When I write a report, I need computer. Usually we have to type them, but one time, I didn’t need to type. I didn’t want to use computer, so I wrote by hand. I had to write a lot of words. I was so tired. My handwriting was terrible at the last part. Then I noticed that I should use computers to write reports.

ABOUT CELL PHONE
Last summer, I bought a cell phone. The cell phone was waterproof. I liked the color. It was gold. Few months later, I lost the cell phone. I couldn’t find it. I gave up finding the cell phone. I told my mom. Then I went to buy another cell phone. I bought a black cell phone. I liked it, too. The few months later, I broke the cell phone. I dropped it into toilet. It was dirty. I knew it was not good, but I washed it. Of course it was broken.

BLOGGING
I think I should blog regularly. I always think I will blog regularly next time, but always I don’t. I think blogging is good because it makes me read English books. I have to read books to write book reviews. At first, reading English books was not so easy for me, but I can read the English books easily now. Also, I must use computer to blog. I have to type them. I think it is good because I think I can type faster than before. Blogging is good to remember what I did, too. The pictures I put bring me back old memories.

SUMMER VACATION PLANS
It’s summer vacation. I like summer because I love sunny days. I just don’t like that I get a lot of sun tan in summer. Oh I don’t like sweating, either. I can’t wear gray t-shirts. Any way, I have a lot of things to do in this summer vacation. First, I have to stay in Nishigoushi-kenshuujo from July 31st to August 2nd. Korean university students come to Japan, so we take them to a lot of places. Next, I have a birthday party on August 3rd. Next, I have summer camp. We go to Amakusa with some people who belong to sports clubs from August 4th to 5th. Then I go to Yamaguchi-ken from 7th to 10th. We have softball games. I have more things to do.

Part-time-job

I’m looking for a job. I don’t like working, but I have to have a part-time-job. I don’t want to work at restaurant because I can’t paint my fingernails if I work at restaurants, and I don’t want to memorize the menu. Next, I want to work at night time because I have classes and practice from morning to afternoon. I think I want to have a part-time-job like nursing care. However I don’t have any qualification for it, so I need to look for a job that I don’t need any qualification. It’s hard to find a job that I want.

The princess and the pea

There is a prince who wants to have a princess which is named Patrick. However he is very picky. He doesn’t want any old princess. He wants to marry a real one. His father shows him the local princesses, but he says no. His father was tired of it. He doesn’t understand what the problem is. Patrick’s mother, the queen is spoiled him. She agrees with him, too. She says to find the real princess, too. The next day, he goes to travel around to search the real princess. He takes Freddy and a lot of suitcases with him. Fred is his cousin. They hear a loud sneeze. Someone is under the seat. Prince shouts, “Who’s there?” There is peg. Peg is the palace made. She says that she wants to see around the world. She hasn’t go far. That’s why she is in the carriage, but Fred and Patrick says that she can’t come with them because this is boys-only trip. However they can’t turn back, so they decided to take her to the trip. At first, Patrick said to stop at the wicked witch’s hut. Fred was surprised because it was kind of scary place. Withes may eat them. Prince Patrick says that the witch will know how to find a real princess. Fred and Patrick said peg to stay in the coach because it can be dangerous. Prince Patrick knocked on the witch’s door, but nobody answered. Fred is scared. He wants to go back soon. He says, “Maybe no one’s there. Patrick looks into the keyhole on the door, and green eye is looking Patrick through the keyhole. He is very surprised. The Green eyes’ woman opens the door, and she says, “Did I scare you? I was just checking who you were.” She is not scary at all. They go inside. She says that she is just cooking some soup for lunch, but it smells bad, and it’s green, so they say that they are not hungry. They also say that they visited her for her help to find real princess. Witch says that finding real princess and spotting a fake one is hard. She tells him a test that he can do. It says that real princess must have politeness to everyone. Next, real princess must be kind to every one. For the last, real princess must have very sensitive skin. Patrick asks, “Sensitive skin?” Witch says a real princess has sensitive skin because she can feel a pea under twenty mattresses. Princess says, “Thank you. You’ve been very helpful.” Patrick and Fred are going to go outside, but the witch says to bring peg inside, and stay for lunch. Peg had three bowls because she didn’t want to hurt the witch’s feeling. Patrick didn’t eat. He poured the soup into a plant pot. Prince Patrick says, “That was very kind of you, Peg.” Now they have witch’s test. They can find real princess. They are going to see Princess Prunella she is looking forward to see prince. Princess Prunella really likes Patrick. She wants to marry him. She prepares very good room for Patrick and Fred, but she isn’t nice to peg. She gave peg a very old, dusty room. Princess Prunella invites Patrick and Fred to dinner. Patrick says, “You are very kind, but What about Peg? Is she eating in the kitchen?” Princess Prunalla got mad, and she said, “She can eat the pig slops if she is hungry” Patrick doesn’t think that she is kind any more. Then they left her. Next, they went to see Princess Pavlova. Prince has an idea. He wears old clothes as a poor guy and sees if the princess is nice to him. He tries it to Peg first. Peg is very nice she gives her apple. The prince’s idea works. Next, he tries it to Princess Pavlova. However she is not nice to him. She tells him to go away. Finally Patrick starts to give up finding real princess. He doesn’t think there are any real princesses. They go home. Peg has a lot of things to do because nobody does the housework if Peg doesn’t. Peg works very hard every day. Finally Patrick notices that Peg is the real princess, and he marries her.

Monday night

It's Monday, today. I have a meeting again. We talk about summer camp. We have a camp on August. We are going to go to Amakusa. I love going to beach, but I couldn’t go to sea last summer, so I’m looking forward it. Some people who belong to sports clubs come, then we can make a lot of friends. I will take many photos.

The Three Little Pigs

This is a famous story. I think everyone has heard this story. Long time ago, there are Pinky, Percy, and poppy. They are little pigs. They live with their mom. However they got bigger. They want their own home. They decided to leave their home, and they are going to have their home. Their mom worried about bad wolfs. They met a man who was selling straw. Then Pinky thought of straw’s house. Pinky bought some straw, and he built a house of straw. He worked very fast. Pinky started to live the straw house. Then Percy and Poppy started walking again. They met a man who was selling sticks. Percy bought some sticks, and he built a house of the sticks. He thinks sticks are better than straw. Then Pinky and Percy think they are safe, now. They think wolfs won’t catch them. Poppy started walking again. She saw a man who was selling some bricks. Poppy bought some of them. They were so heavy, but the bricks were better than straws and sticks. She worked very hard, and she finished building the house of bricks at the night. The next day, a big, bad wolf came to Pinky’s house, and he blew the house. The house was broken, so he ran into Percy’s stick house. The big bad wolf came and blew the house again. Pinky and Percy ran into Poppy’s Brick house. Then the big, bad wolf came, and tried to blow the house. He tries to do it, but he can’t break the house. The three little pigs laughed. The wolf is very angry. He tried to get into the house from the chimney. The big, bad wolf landed in Poppy’s cooking pot. Very hot water was inside of it. Then they are safe now.

Power Words

I had to do the Power Words to get a credit for reading class. There are many difficult words that I don't know. I typed the words entirely. Then finally, I did it! I did it until around three o'clock in the morning. I wanted to sleep, but I wasn't sure if I can wake up for first period, so I tried to stay awake. It was so hard. I was very sleepy. I took shower not to sleep. I was tired, but I was happy because I could finish the power words.

MY STUPID CAMERA

This is a picture of my camera. This camera is a toy camera. It's called Nya-nya-holga. I bought it in PARCO. It costs 4000 yen. I think it's cheap for a camera. Picture of cat's face is on the camera. When I press the button, the green and red lamps near the cat's eye flash, and it cries like a cat. I showed the camera to my sister. She said that the kind of camera needs skills to take good picture. This is not a digital camera, so I have to load a film in the camera. I had never loaded any films, so I didn't know how to do it. I don't know I did it correctly, but I did it somehow, and I started to take picture. I wasn't sure if I was taking pictures without camera shake, but I was looking forward to develop the film. I took about twenty-four pictures, and I took the camera to a camera shop. About three hours later, I went the camera shop to get the pictures. A woman who worked at the shop said, "You have only six pictures, okay?" to me. I was sure that I took more than six pictures, but I said OK. After I went back my room, I looked at the pictures. The pictures are white, and I couldn't see well. One of the picture was good, but it was a picture of my profile that my friend took. I don't need it. I decided not to use the camera any more.

I got this from my friend. The friend works at a game center. There are many UFO CATCHERS. The object of banana was one of the free gifts. The object of bananas is kind of famous character. I’ve seen it at some stores. The bananas have many kinds of face. One of them wears glasses. One of them wears a shirts and a tie. One of them wears make up. One of them has a flower. I think they are cute. Now I have them by the TV in my room.

A book

I read this book yesterday. The title means thanks Satoshi, I hope that we can see each other again. The author was my teacher. He taught me science when I was an elementary school student. He was kind of strict, but everyone liked him because he was funny. He had a son who was named Satoshi. I had seen him when I was a high school student because Runa who was the one of my cousins was dating with him. One day, I heard a sad story about them. They were friends from Junior High School. Then they started to date. Runa’s dad didn’t like that she had a boyfriend, but mom liked Satoshi because he was good. His future plan was to be a teacher like his dad, so he went to a university. Runa didn’t go to University. She worked at a company. Sometimes workers don’t understand students’ thinking, and sometimes students don’t understand workers’ thinking. Runa didn’t hate him, but runa felt something different between Satoshi and her. Then she turned down him. The next day, Satoshi sent an e-mail to Runa because he still liked her, and he didn’t want to break up with her. Runa was working, so she checked the e-mail afternoon. She didn’t hate him. She thought about it again, and she sent an e-mail to him, but he didn’t reply. She wondered why, and after that, she knew that he died because of a traffic accident on his way to school. Isn’t it so sad? Then his dad wrote a book. Satoshi always took a motorcycle to go to university. Then he and a track crushed. A driver of the truck said, “ I felt the rates of the motorcycle was about eighty kilometer per hour.” However Satoshi’s dad couldn’t believe it because Satoshi was a safety driver. When Satoshi and his dad were touring by their motorcycle, Satoshi said, “you’re driving too fast!” to his dad. Also, the traffic was too bumpy to speed up, so there was no way to think that he run faster than fifty kilometer per hour. However They can’t say anything because there is nothing to show. Satoshi’s family was very sad. It had two letters that were written for Satoshi. The letters were written by Satoshi’s older sister and Satoshi’s friend. I couldn’t read it without crying.

It is the star festival today. About one month ago, I promised with one of my friends to go to a park to see stars. However the day, it wasn’t sunny. We couldn’t see any stars in the sky. Then we went to downtown to take Purikura by bike. It was fun. After that, I was cleaning at my apartment. I found a letter from my friend. When I was a high school student, I got it from Ryo. Ryo is kind of unusual name for girls. She told me that she doesn’t like her name because when someone asks her, “what’s your name?” she says, “my name is Ryo.” and people always say, “Pardon? Ryoko?” That’s why she doesn’t like her name. The letter, which I got from Ryo, said, “It’s star day today. I got my science test back. The score was under thirty. My parent’s will be angry. Anyway, I’m going to go home in Miyazaki. I’m busy for club activity, so I haven’t go home about seven months. Masumi, we haven’t talked these days. What’s up? Did you have anything fun? Did you get a boyfriend? I had bud things this week, but I will do my best, so do your best, too. Love Ryo.” The letter brought me back old memory.

Essay Bad Day

Last winter, I lost my cell phone. I got the cell phone about four months ago, so it was not so old. I looked for it again and again, but I couldn’t remember where I lost it. I gave up looking for it. Then I went to docomo shop to get new cell phone. I don’t remember why, but I couldn’t choose cell phone’s design. A clerk brought me a black cell phone. Before I loose my cell phone, it was same as my friend’s cell phone, but my friend bought another one. Then the cell phone that the clerk brought was same as the friend’s cell phone. We have same designed cell phone again. I couldn’t choose the design, but I thought it was cute, so that was okay. However few months later, I dropped the new cell hone at the toilet in school. I was flushing the toilet, and I dropped my cell phone from my pocket. I was very surprised, and I picked my cell phone up without thinking because it might be flushed. I knew it’s not good, but I washed it well. Of course I couldn’t use the cell phone any more. I could see photos that I took by the cell phone’s camera. I could listen to some music that I had in the cell phone. However I couldn’t call or send any e-mail. I went to docomo shop, again. A clerk said that I can’t get new cell phone at the docomo shop, and she gave me a phone number to call. Then I called the phone number, and I explained why I broke my cell phone, and which kind of cell phone I used. About two days later, a new cell phone was sent from the docomo company. It was exactly same as the cell phone I used before. I lost my friends’ e-mail address, so I don’t know who sent the e-mail to me. I always said, “I’m sorry. I broke my cell phone, so I lost my phone book in the cell phone. Pleas tell me your name.” Now I know my friends’ address again.

I like this picture. When I see this picture, I always remember a song that is called girlfriend. Hey hey you you I don’t like your girlfriend. No way no way I think you need a new one. Hey hey you you I could be your girlfriend. Some of my friends say they don’t like the song because they don’t like intercepting someone’s boyfriend. I think it bad thing, too. However I agree with the words, “all’s fare in love and war.” She likes him. She can’t help about it.

This is a picture of an English newspaper. I got this from my reading class. I have reading class in fourth period on Thursday. We study grammar to be able to read English newspaper. Reading English newspaper is difficult for me because I need to know extra grammar, and there are many difficult words. Reading English newspaper is different from reading easy English or talking in English. I also need to know the backgrounds to understand the article. These are the why reading English newspaper is difficult for me.

Essay 2028 self introduction

After about twenty years from now, I will be about forty years old. I think forty years old is kind of old, so I don’t want to be 40 years old. When I was younger, I thought I will feel more adult if I became twenty years old. However I don’t feel adult. I still feel like I am a child. Maybe I will still feel as a child even if I became forty years old. Any way, I will write about what kind of person I want to be after the twenty years. First, I hope I got married. I want a man who is very nice to everyone, and who doesn’t flirt. However I believe that every man in the world flirts. When I told that to my friend, he said, “That’s wrong.” Then I started to think that there are some men who don’t flirt. Next, I want to have two children. I want one boy and one girl. I have an older brother. He was very nice, and he took care of me, so I want a boy. After that, I want a cute girl, too because I want to talk about romance, fashion with my daughter. I also want to make chocolate on Sent Valentine’s Day with my daughter. Next, I want to be living Okinawa because I want to live near by the sea, and I don’t like cold days. I’ve been to Okinawa twice. When I was a Junior High School student, I went there for school trip. We studied about World War 2 before the school trip. Then I went to Okinawa for a Softball Tournament last March. We stayed there about three days. My friends said that they like visiting Okinawa, but they don’t want to stay in Okinawa longer than one week, but I want to stay there forever. I really like the peaceful atmosphere. That’s why I want to live in Okinawa. Next, I want a very cute car. I want many cute clothes, too. At last, I want to be having a job that I really want to have. I still don’t know what I want to be exactly, but I hope that I know it in this twenty years. I think I have more important things to write, but I don’t remember any more, now, so I’ll be done.

Cassy Green is a crocodile. She is on her way to work. It is the first day of her new job. Cassy Green is going to work at Everglades. Everglades is the biggest and best store in town. It sells things that people can’t get anywhere else. At first, cassy works at the china department. She sells a lot of goods. She is doing well. A rich lady comes, and buys sixty cups and saucers. Cassy packs them into a box carefully. Cassy is little slow, and the rich lady is little annoyed. Cassy ties a big bow on the box quickly, and picks the box up. Cassy have packed it upsode down, so the box is broken. Sixty cups and saucers in the box smash onto the floor. Now the rich lady is angly, and she left. Next, Cassy is sent to the Toy Department. There is a ball. Cassy thinks she should put the balls away because someone can trip over it and falls. However as she pick up the ball, her tail hits on toys, and some of the toys are broken. Then she is sent to a Food Hall. However things go badly. Cassy trips over a chair, and a bowl of salad flies into the air, and it lands on the owner of the department’s head. He is cassy’s boss. His name is Ernest Everglade. He says Cassy to go to his office. He says, “Go and don’t ever come back.” Cassy says, “give me one more chance. I’ll be very careful.” However Ernest Everglade is reading his newspaper. He is not even listening to Cassy. At last, he says, “I don’t have any time for you.” Cassy is so sad. She starts crying. Now Ernest Everglade says, “OK, OK, go to the Luxury Goods Department Monday morning.” It’s Sunday, next day. Cassy works hard to get ready for Monday. She looks perfect. Next Monday morning, she arrives in the Luxury Goods Department faster than anyone else. Only Security guard is there. He has been guarding all the night. He is happy to see Cassy because he can go home to sleep. Cassy doesn’t want him to go, but he says, “You are fine. Just keep an eye on Everglades Emerald.” Cassy feels important. However two boys are hiding there. Their names are Nigel and Rupert. They are known as Greedy Boys. Greedy Boys are famous thieves those days. The Everglades Emerald is in a case of extra strong glass. Nigel has a small whistle. It can’t be heard by human, and it breaks glass. Then he put it on his lips and blows. The case of glass is broken, and they take the Everglades Emerald. Nobody hears the whistle, but Cassy did. Cassy goes to see the Everglades Emerald, and she trips. Then a big pot flies into the air, and it lands on the Greedy Boys. They can’t move now. Ernest Everglades hears the big noise, and he walks in. “What is going on here?” He is angry, again. Cassy tries to explain, but Ernest Everglades is not listening. He is surprised because the extra strong glass is broken, and his Everglades Emerald is lying on the floor. Then he sees the legs under the big pot. Ernest Everglade understands what happened there. He says to Cassy, “Well done! You’ve saved the Everglades Emerald.” “And you’ve caught the Greedy Boys.” That afternoon, Ernest Everglade gives a party for Cassy. It is the biggest party. Whole people in the town is invited. They have delicious foods, ice creams, sweets, singing and dancing, and fantastic fireworks. Cassy gets a medal. She is a hero now.

The Blue Game

Sam moves to a new apartment. After that, her mother starts to look for a job. She takes local paper to look the job and rings the jobs which she was interested in. Sam is angry about it. Sam thinks her mom doesn’t care about Sam any more, so Sam doesn’t want her to get any jobs. However mom says that they need to make money. Sam is so sad. Sam asks her mom if mom works in the evening, what Sam does during mom’s work. Mom says that Sam can spend more time with her dad. Then Sam asks what to do if her dad is on night shift. Mom is annoyed by Sam’s questions. Mom says that Sam can go to her friends’ house when parents are working. However she doesn’t want to go to her friends’ house because Sam likes quiet places. Sam is still in bad mood. Mrs. Green invites Sam in for a cup of tea. She had very delicious sweets, but it didn’t make Sam happy. Mrs. Green asks Sam, “What’s wrong?” Sam explains why she is so sad. Mrs. Green comforts Sam, and she says that she tries to look only the bright side when she is sad. Sam asks how she looks to bright side when there are no bright sides. Then Mrs. Green tells that you won’t notice anything good if you see only the bad things. Sam understands the words. Sam eats another slice of strawberry tart. She remarks the tart is delicious. Mrs. Green asks the good point of her mom getting a job. Sam says that the good point is that they can have more money, and they will have the better holiday. However Sam still doesn’t want her mom to have a job. Then Mrs. Green says that Sam can visits Mrs. Green’s house if her parents are both busy. Sam is very happy now. By the way, her mom is suffering because she can’t get any jobs. She says Sam, “I’m no good at anything.” Sam tells what Mrs. Green taught her, and Sam looks for mom’s job. Sam finds a job in a library. Mom likes it, and the library gives her a job. Sam and her mom invite Mrs. Green for a meal. They tell Mrs. Green that mom got a job. Mrs. Green says, “That’s great!” Everyone is happy now.

A rat for Mouse

Jojo and mouse get new pet. It’s a hamster named Jumbo. Jumbo is a boy. Everyone loves Jumbo. However Mouse doesn’t really like Jumbo because he is so shy and hides all the time. Mouse wants another pet, and he says, “We should have our own pet.” Jojo wants to have Jumbo all to her self so she agreed. Mr. Macdonald takes Mouse to a pet shop. They look at rabbits, fish, birds, gerbils, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. However Mouse doesn’t want these animals. Mouse sees a rat. Shop keeper says that rats are the one-person pets. He really likes it. Mouse buys the rat, a ladder, a wheel, and some food. Mouse shows the rat to his family. Mom is very surprised. Mouse names the rat Ricky. Ricky has never bit Mouse. Ricky plays with Mouse. He goes everywhere with Mouse. Mouse shares his meals with Ricky. Ricky sleeps in a cage right next to Mouse’s bed. However Ricky is not nice to other people. When one of Mouse’s friends tried to pick him up, Ricky bit the Mouse’s friends. Mouse’s friends are afraid of Ricky. They say that Mouse should take Ricky back to the pet shop. However Mouse thinks Ricky is not bad because he has told everyone that rat is a one-person pet, so he might bite others. Then everyone understands. After that, no one tries to touch Ricky.

Jojo makes the TEAM

Jojo is a girl. She is teased by some big boys. They say that she kick a football because she is just a girl. She is annoyed. She kicks a ball hardly. The ball goes further than she thinks. She has amazing kick. Now, she can play soccer with big boys. Jojo is good at playing soccer. One of the teachers called Mrs. Ambrose says that they are going to take part in a soccer tournament. They make two teams. Team A is the best team. Players from top class are in there. Team B includes some younger player and two kids from her class. Mrs. Ambrose says, “One of them is Ravi.” Ravi is the best player in the class. Everyone knew that Ravi would be chosen. Then Jojo is chosen for the other one. Girls have never been chosen for school soccer team. Jojo is very happy. After that, she goes out to play soccer with boys, but they don’t play soccer with her. They say that Jojo is too good for them. Ravi is playing soccer with them, but they don’t let Jojo play soccer with them. They are so mean. Jojo is angry. Some of the boys go to park to play soccer. They promised Jojo to help her when boys are being stupid. However the next day, they didn’t need to because their teacher did it for them. Then all of the boys helped her practiced for the soccer tournament. Jojo is very happy for them.

June 18th

I have a meeting on every Thursday. I always have meeting at eight o’clock. I usually go home after school, eat supper, and go to school again. About 20 people from KU, KTU, KU, SU, and KGU come. We talked about summer institute. We are going to have a summer institute during summer vacation. We talked about 2 hours. It was difficult to decide what to talk on summer institute. Student councils of the 5 universities are going to come. We do some recreation. I’m looking forward to the day.

KIMINI YOMUMONOGATARI

I watched a movie which is called Kiminiyomu monogatari. It’s called Note book in English. The actless was very cute! When I was a High School student, I really wanted to watch it, and finally I did. However I was so sleepy, so I fell asleep. The next day, I watched it again. I was sleepy again, but I tried to stay awake. It was a good movie. An old man tells a love story to an old lady. The story is about them. The old lady remembers the story and the old man. They loved each other. However the next moment, she forgets about the old man again. I was so sad.

May-23rd, 24th, 25th

We made an expedition. We went to Chiran in Kagoshima to have softball games. We left school at 10:30. We went their by school bus. One time, 5 minutes after leaving school, one of the boys said, “stop!” Everyone wandered why. The boy who said stop said, “I want to poop.” Everyone laughed. Then the bus stopped, and he went into a store to poop. Anyway, it took about three hours to get Kagoshima. The first day of the expedition, we just had a practice and opening ceremony. During the players are practicing, I was preparing for the opening ceremony with another team secretary. The next day, we had two games. It rained a lot, but we must have the games. It seemed difficult to play in the rain. After eating supper, we were busy to do the laundries. The last day, we had two games, again. It was a kind of nice, cloudy day. The last game was KGU versus FU. We had never won FU. Players were very excited. It was a good game. They were very close, but we lost. Players were chagrined at loosing the game. In the fall, we have same softball meeting. I hope they win.

Goodbye, hello

Alex and his younger sister Daniela are shopping for their mom’s birthday present. They go to inside of a mall. Daniela is looking at the CDs, and Alex is snowboards. They don’t care about each other. There is a little girl with a shopping cart. The little girl doesn’t notice Alex, and she hits Alex with the shopping cart. He falls into the rack. The little girl says sorry, but Alex is very mad at her. A woman who wears red sweater comes to them. She is little girl’s sister. She asks, “are you ok?” to the little girl. The little girl says, “I’m okay.” Then, the woman in red sweater says, “say sorry to the man.” The little girl says sorry to Alex, and the woman in red sweater says sorry, too. Alex thinks the woman in red is very beautiful. Alex says, “I’m okay.” They smile each other. Alex wants to know her name, and he wants talk more, but she says bye, and she goes away. Alex follows her, but her mother comes, and the woman in red gets into the car. He is very sad. One day, Alex is in his class. He is always thinking about the woman in red sweater. His teacher tells that the class has a new student, and the student’s name is Jenny Martin. She was the woman in red. She remembers Alex, too. Alex is very happy.

Sarah's surprise

The main character is Sarah. She starts to work at a café which is called The Lagoon. Mrs. Hayes is working at there. She introduces Sarah to Ji-sung. He works at there, too. Mrs. Hayes explains about some machines, drinks, and food. Then she goes out. Ji-sung and Sarah are in café, now. A man comes, and he asks where Mrs. Hayes is. Sarah says, “she is out.” Then the man says okay, and he takes some sandwiches and an apple. Sarah is very surprised. She doesn’t know what to do. After the man leaving the café, Sarah and Ji-sung calls for a police. Sarah tells about the man to the policeman. A police comes, and Sarah tells about what the man, who took the foods, looked like. Then Mrs. Hayes comes back to the cafe. Sarah tells about the man to Mrs. Hayes, too. The man, who took the foods, comes again. The man was Mrs. Hayes’s husband.

MOTHER TERESA

Mother Teresa’s name was not Teresa for her first eighteen years old. Her name was Agnes. She had a older brother. And a older sister. Agnes’s birthday was August twenty-sixth in 1910. Her parents were from Albania, but they lived in Skopje. They were rich because dad did well in his work. However suddenly he died. When father died, Agnes was only eight years old. Agnes’s sister and brother were too little, too. Their mom loved them a lot. She worked for children, and she did well. They were still happy. The family went to church every week. They prayed for god every evening. Agnes wanted to do something for god. When Agnes was eighteen years old, she decided to be a nun in India. She said good bye to her friends and her family. She didn’t see them again. Then she was called Sister Teresa. It took seven weeks to go to India. She was very nice to everyone. At first, she wasn’t a good English speaker, but after two years, she spoke English fluently. She taught children in nun’s church. She didn’t listen to music. She didn’t go shopping. However she was happy because she could live for God everyday. She helped many poor people. Mother Teresa became famous. Many people wanted to help mother Teresa to help street poor people. Mother Teresa got the Nobel peace prize.

Hi. My name is Masumi K. My friends call me Masumi. I'm nineteen years old. I am from Kikuka in Kumamoto. I go to KGU now. Kumamoto is located in south side, so it's kind of hot and soggy in summer. There are many mountains and rivers in my hometown.
I have seven people in my family. There are my grandma, my grandpa, my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother, and me. My sister is twenty-four years old. She is shorter than me, and she has longer hair than I do, but people say that my sister and I look like same. My brother is 21 years old. We used to fight a lot, but now, they are nice to me. We have some birds and a dog outside of the house, and we have another dog inside of the house.
What I like to do is eating. I'm not picky. I hadn't cooked before, but since I left my home, I need to cook everyday. I noticed that I like cooking. I also like sleeping. The best thing I like to do is shopping. When I have time, I like going to downtown, and see some clothes, shoes, and accessories.
I don't like waking up early. When I wake up early, I feel good, but usually I can't. I also don't like having part time jobs. I've worked at 3 restaurants, and a laundry. I should have a part time job, but I'm too busy to do it now. I don't like roller coasters, too. It's very scary. I can't even scream!
I don’t know what I want to be in the future, but I want to study English, now. I also want to learn about many counties’ cultures. I’m really interested about it. Anyway, thank you for being my host family. I can’t wait to see you. Thanks a lot.

RAIN, RAIN, RAIN

The main character's name is Faye. She is a student. She wakes up. It's Monday morning. School starts at nine o'clock, but it's already eight twenty. Her mom says to eat to Faye, but she doesn't have time to eat. Her mom asks Faye where she is going. Faye says that she is going to go to school. Mom tries to tell Faye something, but Faye doesn't listen to her mom. Faye takes bike to go to train station. A dog is coming to her. When Faye trys to dodge the dog, she falls down. Her bicycle doesn't work. It's raining. Somehow, she could get station on time, but train isn’t moving. A fallen tree is in the way of the train. She runs to get a bus. However bus leaves the bus stop before Faye get on the bus. She is very wet, and finally, she runs to school. She looks at her watch. It’s 8:59. Faye thinks, “good.” However, a paper is on the school gate. It says, “no school today.”

In sasebo, NAGASAKI

I went to Sasebo with my friends. Before that day, my friends and I were just chatting. I was looking at some pictures in my friend’s cell phone. There was a picture my friend eating a big hamburger. I asked, “What is that? Why is it so big?” my friend said that it is a Sasebo burger. Sasebo burger is famous. I think many people know it. I wanted to go to Sasebo to see real Sasebo burger. We had no maps, but we decided to go to Sasebo. We drove about five hours. I was kind of tired. However I was so glad when I got there. We went to see, but it was cold. Next we went to Sasebo Zoo. I like elephants, giraffes, and camels. I took a lot of pictures. Then we went to eat Sasebo burger. It was not so big as I thought, but it tasted good. We had a lot of fun!

Three Billy Goats

Three goats are in this story. The goats are a little goat, big goat, and a bigger goat. The little goat is white. The big goat is red. The bigger one is black. They are very hungry. They see green grass over the see. They like eating grass. They see a bridge, but there is a bad troll. He doesn’t people use the bridge because he thinks the bridge is his. However the three goats are hungry, and they really want the green grass. The little green goat walks on the bridge. Troll comes, and he tries to eat the goat. The goat says that waiting for next bigger one is better. Troll thinks so, too. Then the troll says OK. The little goat could go over the bridge. Next, the red big goat goes over the bridge, and he says same thing as the little goat said. Troll said OK again. Then the biggest black goat goes on the bridge. Troll tries to eat the big goat, so the big goat runs at the troll, and the goat hits him. Then they could go over the bridge, and they could eat the green grass. I think I’ve heard about this story when I was a child.

My best day

My 17th birthday was one of my favorite days. I was in America, when I was being 17 years old. When I was a 11th grader student, I went to study abroad as an exchange student. I stayed with a host family. There were mom, dad, Stephanie, Julia, Nicole. Stephanie was same age as me. Julia and Nicole were 2 years younger than me. They were twins. They looked like exactly same, but Julia had short hair, and Nicole had long hair. That’s why I knew which was which. I always woke up late, so Julia always came to my room and woke me up even when I didn’t need to wake up early. They always get on my bed without putting their shoes off. At first, I didn’t like it, but now, I kind of got accustomed. They liked having party. They always asked me, “What kind of party do you want to have on your birthday?” I haven’t had my birthday party, so I was looking forward to my birthday party. On October 8th, it was my birthday. Stephanie took me to a house to baby sit some children. She liked children a lot, so she always took me to baby-sit. I liked that, too. After that, we got home. There were some friends, and rooms were decollated. They had a birthday cake that my friends made, and my name was written on it in Japanese. I was so surprised. They sung birthday song for me. I was so happy. I think it was one of my favorite days.

Lucky Break

The main character’s name is Tom. He plays football game. Somebody pushed him, and he falls down. He broke his leg. Tom was reading newspaper at his house. It said, “Lourel Rowe’s new movie opens this evening”. Lourel Rowe is his favorite movie star. He wants her autograph. That evening, he goes to the movie theater by a taxi. There are many fans in the street. They were very excited. Then a long car came, and there is Lourel Rowe. Reporters take her picture. People push Tom. He shouts, but people don’t listen too him. When Tom falls, his crutch hits Lourel Rowe’s foot. She falls, too. The reporters keep taking photos. People lagh at her. Lurel Rowe is very angry because it’s the first night of her new movie. Tom says sorry, but she is still angry. She takes Tom’s crutch, and she hits him with it. The next morning, there was an article about the happening on the newspaper. When Lourel　Rowe hit Tom with the crutch the reporter took a picture. The picture was on the newspaper with the article. Now Tom and his crutch are famous. Tom goes to the football game on Saturday. People know him and his crutch. After the game, football players sell the footballs, football shirts, and hats to make money for children’s hospital. Tom has a good idea. He sells his crutch. Lourel Rowe fan bought it. The fan pays five hundred dollars. Lourel Rowe hit Tom with the crutch, but people still like her. I’m very surprised about that.

My treasure

My treasure is a dog. The dog’s name is Shiro. Shiro is a girl. She is about 5 years old. When I started to stay at an apartment, my friend gave Shiro to me. She was one of unsold dogs. Then my friend was looking for someone who can have the dogs. The friend already had three dogs and some cats. I thought a lot about the dog’s name. At first, I named her Vivi. I said, “Vivi!”, but she doesn’t answer. When my friend calls the dog, she says, “Shiro!” and the dog answers. So I decided to call her Shiro. After my friend went back to her home, Shiro looked for her. I felt sorry for Shiro. I slept with her every night, so Shiro attached herself to me. One day, I went to school, but I worried if Shiro felt lonely. The day, I had 2nd period and 3rd period. However I went back to my apartment to see what Shiro was doing during lunch time. When I got home, Shiro was sleeping. She opened her eyes, and she looked at me, but she kept sleeping. She sleeps a lot. I think she sleeps too much. She didn’t like walking. At first, it was really hard to take Shiro for walk. She didn’t move! She was scared to go outside. However I took her for walk. Now, she likes walking. However, when she get tired, she stops walking. It’s cute. She is always cute, but when she pooped on my bed, I got mad at her.

Lisa and Alice are on holiday. They are staying at a hotel in Greece. When Lisa and Alice are in museum, they hear two other tourists talking about Matt Lepardi and Claudia Carman who are the movie stars. The tourists say that the two movie stars are visiting same island and making a film. In the morning, Lisa is sitting on the balcony at the hotel. There is another hotel next to her hotel. The hotel’s name is Hotel Astra. Claudia Carmen and Matt Lepardi are on the balcony of Hotel Astra. They seem like they are angry, but Lisa can’t hear what they are saying. Claudia takes her gun, and she shoots Matt. Then Claudia sees at Lisa. Lisa thinks that Claudia is going to kill Lisa because Lisa saw everything. However Matt was not dead. They were just practicing their scenes.

a Tower

This is a tower of cards. I was playing cards and talking with my friends a lot. One of my friends slept, so I started making the tower with another friend. It always fall down. Finally, we made it! It was almost morning. We had practice the day. We left my frind's home. I couldn't sleep, so I was tired.

Blood donation campaign

We had 2nd bood donation campaign on April. We had 1st blood donation campaign on November. I really didn't like injection, but I gave my blood. The needle of the squirt was so thick. I will never give my bood. Look at the picture. The rabbit is called "ha-bitto kun". We put on it, and said "please give bool". Many kids came and talked! By the way, it was really hot.

Land of the Dinosaurs.

Four kids found some big eggs. One of the eggs began to crack, and a little dinosaur came out. Then a big flying dinosaur came. four kids ran and hide. The flying dinosaur started to eat the little dinosaur. Biff ,who is one of the four kids, took a stick, and yelled, "go away". Then the dinosaur flew away. If I was there, I wouldn't do that because I could be eaten. After that, another dinosaur came. The dinosaur looked scary. The four kids ran. However, one of the four kids' shoe came off in the mud. The dinosaur could eat them. Suddenly, the magis key began to grow just in time. Then it took them to Biff's bed room. I want the magic key because the key always helps kids.
